This policy applies to all Marahi services, including farm management, health and financial records, the breeders' market, subscriptions, and customer support.

2.2 Farm and operational data
- Farm name and description
- Location text you enter manually (we do not collect GPS coordinates automatically)
- Livestock records: counts, weights, breeds, status, photos
- Health records: vaccinations, diseases, examinations, births
- Financial records: expenses, sales, reports
- Reminders and tasks
- Farm team members (name, permissions, invitation details)
2.3 Media and files
- Photos and videos you upload (livestock, market posts, bank transfer receipts)
- Export files you generate from the app
2.4 Marahi Market (user-generated content)
- Posts, comments, likes, and reports
- Media attached to posts
2.5 Subscription and payment data
- Subscription status, plan, start and end dates
- Transaction identifiers from payment gateways or app stores (we do not store full card numbers)
- On iOS: purchases are processed by Apple; Apple may process payment data under Apple's Privacy Policy
- On Android: purchases are processed by Google Play under Google's Privacy Policy
- Bank transfer receipts you upload (when paying via web/bank transfer)
- Discount codes used (when available outside app stores)

- Create your account and verify your identity via OTP
- Operate farm management, records, and reporting features
- Process subscriptions, payments, and service activation

- Moderate Marahi Market content and handle user reports
- Improve security, prevent fraud and abuse
- Comply with applicable laws in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
4. Legal Basis for Processing
We process your data based on: performance of our service/subscription contract, your consent (e.g. uploading media or posting in the Market), and legitimate interests (security and fraud prevention).
5. Sharing with Third Parties
We do not sell your personal data. We may share only what is necessary with:
- Google Play — Android in-app subscriptions and billing (Google Privacy Policy)
- Apple App Store — iOS subscriptions via In-App Purchase (Apple Privacy Policy)
- EdfaPay — card payments on web only (subject to EdfaPay's privacy policy)
- SMS / OTP providers — sending verification codes
- Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) — push notifications
- Amazon Web Services (S3) — media and file storage
We may disclose data when required by competent authorities under Saudi regulations.
6. App Permissions
- Camera and photos/videos: to capture or select livestock images, market posts, and payment receipts
- Microphone: when recording video that includes audio (if that feature is used)
- Internet: to sync data with our servers
- Notifications: for vaccination reminders, tasks, and account updates
You may revoke permissions in your device settings; some features may not work without them.
7. Data Retention
- We retain your data while your account is active to provide the service
- After account deletion, we delete or anonymize personal data within 30 days, unless law requires retaining specific records (e.g. financial compliance)
- We may keep anonymized data for statistical purposes

You have the right to:
- Access and correct your data within the app
- Request a copy of your data via support
- Permanently delete your account
Delete your account in the app:
- Open the app → Settings
- Select Delete account
- Confirm deletion (double confirmation required)

9. Data Security
We use HTTPS encryption in transit, server access controls, and backups. No system is 100% secure, but we apply reasonable measures to protect your data.
10. Advertising and Tracking
We do not show third-party ads in the app, and we do not use the advertising identifier (IDFA / Advertising ID) for cross-app or cross-site tracking. We do not sell your data for advertising.
11. Children's Privacy and Age Suitability
Marahi is a business app intended for adult livestock breeders. The target store age rating is 17+. The service is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from minors below the age of eligibility. If you believe a minor has provided data, contact us to delete it.
12. Nature of Health Records
Health records in Marahi relate to livestock for farm management only. They are not human medical advice, veterinary diagnosis, or a substitute for professional consultation.
13. International Data Transfers
Data may be stored or processed by cloud providers outside Saudi Arabia (e.g. AWS). We take steps to ensure appropriate protection consistent with this policy.
14. Cookies (Web)
The marahy.com website may use essential cookies for login and session management. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
15. Marahi Market and Content Moderation
Content you post may be visible to other users. We may remove content that violates our Terms or applicable law. Users can report posts from within the app, and reports are reviewed via the admin panel.
16. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
